About Fairways Nursing Home
Located in Angelsey, with views of the scenic Trearddur Bay, Fairways a 37-bedded nursing home for the elderly. We operate four households within the home to keep the feel cosy. Additionally, home features ample communal areas like lounges, dining areas, an enclosed courtyard with an outdoor terrace and lovely gardens with seating for residents to enjoy and connect with nature.
Fairways was the very first nursing home to be established on Anglesey. With a handful of staff and just eight rooms, it was a pioneer in providing an alternative to living in hospital for local elderly people who were unwell. Since then Fairways has grown into a valued local resource and has provided care solutions to many hundreds of Anglesey families.
Fairways Nursing offers a happy, homely environment with a team of dedicated staff who go over and above to meet resident needs. The home offers a person-tailored care, with the understanding each person has their own specific needs and preferences to ensure each resident lives a fulfilling and happy life.
Our Awards
Dawn Thomas, Care Assistant at Fairways Nursing Home wins Health and Social Care Apprentice of The Year at the Coleg Menai Apprentice awards.
Fairways Care won the Gold Award for Dementia Care Excellence at the Wales Care Awards in Cardiff and in the same year it was listed as “Best Dementia Care Home” at the National Dementia Care Awards.
